What are we looking for?

A responsible, charming, funny, kind, and organised human
Availability for starts as early as 6:30am, finishes usually no later than 3pm, and one weekend shift per week
Experience juggling an extensive coffee menu, incorporating quality assurance, cleaning, and troubleshooting
Skills in running a dining room and following a ‘Sequence of Service’
Good with POS Operation and Cash Handling
Capable with FOH Open/Close tasks

Hours are negotiable for the right candidate, however this is a core role so we are looking for ongoing commitment.

What are we looking for?

A responsible, charming, funny, kind, and organised human
Availability for 7:00am - 2:3pm Kitchen Shifts with just one weekend shift per week, and willingness to play out the front with FOH from time to time.
Skills in juggling a sizzling grill while poaching a perfect egg, with consistent, appealing plating
A Team Work ethos, and continuous improvement mindset
Ability to manage prep and stock rotation, and maintain a clean and tidy kitchen space
Comfy with customer chit-chat and cash handling - the role requires customer service and till operation

ABOUT THE TEAM:

We will need you to hit the ground running with a few training shifts to get you up to speed with our systems and recipes, and of course time on the floor getting to know our lovely regulars and how we run the ship – experience in a cafe environment, customer service, and cash handling will all be beneficial. The ability to multitask and a ‘let’s rock this’ attitude are essential.
