If you love cooking but you're over the admin — the rosters, the costings, the meetings that eat away at your day — this one's for you.

At Hello Duck, the kitchen role is exactly what it should be: the cooking. You'll be on the tools for service, prepping ingredients to a high standard, baking, keeping the kitchen the kind of clean you'd be proud to have inspected any day of the week, and keeping an eye on stock and par levels. You'll collaborate with the team on specials — we want your ideas, not just your execution.

What you won't be doing: staff management, rostering, or getting bogged down in costings. We've got systems in place for portioning, so you'll follow those to keep consistency tight — but the admin load that usually comes with a serious kitchen role? Not part of this one. You bring the skill and the care. We'll handle the rest.

No nights, no splits, and when you clock off, you're actually off. No late finishes, no venue calls on your days off, no carrying the shift home with you.
